Class 08 Enthusiasts Brake Van Special
Join us on Sunday 12th July 2026 for a special enthusiast running day at Peak Rail, in addition to our scheduled steam services.
Two Class 08 diesel shunters, 08762 and 08483, will operate three return trips between Rowsley South Station and Matlock Platform 2, hauling a rake of four brake vans top-and-tailed for an authentic enthusiast experience, plus the locomotives will swap ends during the day. Both locomotives are expected to return to industry shortly so guarantee your space for haulage behind the pair!
